Benefits
of AGC Membership
For over 80 years, contractors have
turned to AGC to help improve their bottom line. If you’re looking for
information and products to help improve your productivity, protect you
from legal battles, and keep you current, AGC can help.
Legislative Representation:
AGC is well known and respected by all branches of the federal
government including the White House, Federal agencies and Congress. By
professionally and effectively representing the unique interests and
concerns of all construction contractors, AGC works to ensure that
government understands the needs of the construction industry. Because
of the strength and unity of its members, AGC of America is the voice of
the construction industry, particularly on Capitol Hill. In fact, AGC
was ranked in the Top 50 of all interest groups who lobby Congress by Fortune
magazine.
AGC Committees:
AGC has over 40 different committees on subjects ranging from Electronic
Information to Equipment, Safety & Health to Surety Bonding. All employees of AGC member firms are eligible
to serve on committees, and are urged to do so. Even if you are not able
to attend all committee meetings, the information you will gain will be
valuable to you and your firm. For brief descriptions of the AGC
Committees, click here. For a
list of current GBC Members serving on AGC Committees, click here.
If you are not currently serving on an AGC Committee and would like to,

AGC Discount Programs:
AGC offers a variety of discount programs with vendors of products and
services including employee benefit programs, mobile offices,
information technology, package delivery, safety products and signage,
office supplies and car rental.
AGC Publications:
AGC publishes a wide array of books, videos, and other materials that
should be in your library. They also publish a variety of contract
